Ginny Dybenko has recently retired from the role of the Founding Executive Director of the University of Waterloo’s new Stratford School of Interaction Design and Business that is a unique integrator and academic institute devoted to collaboration between digital media, international commerce and culture.
Ginny previously served as Dean of the School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University, after a successful corporate career including a number of senior executive roles in Bell Canada and a high tech telecommunications start-up, and was the founding President and CEO of Bell Advanced Communications.
Ginny was named 2013 Governor General’s Barn Raiser Award recipient and serves on the CPA (Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario), TVOntario, Quarry Communications and Social Venture Partners Waterloo Region boards. Ginny has been recognized by the Women’s Executive Network as one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women.
